How to Give yourself a Complete Beauty Makeover
Author: Steven James

You`ve decided to go ahead with the makeover but don`t know where to start? You`ll want to begin by giving yourself the all-points beauty and skin-care treatment. That means exfoliation, masking, hot-oil or deep treating hair, a hydrating treatment like an oatmeal or mud bath, a pedicure and manicure to clean up those neglected nails, and attending to all the other little details that will make your makeover complete. From head to toe, be sure you include everything. Get or give yourself a thorough pedicure, attend to hair removal where necessary through waxing or plucking, trim dead ends if your makeover isn`t going to involve a new hair style, and even consider whitening those teeth.

So now your all prepped and ready for the new look but what do you do now? Well, a makeover isn`t` a makeover without change, and change can be intimidating and scary. The trick is to find a level of change that is dramatic enough to be noticeable, and maybe even naturally a little bit uncomfortable, but yet not so drastic that it leaves you in regret.

We all know at least one women who we look at think just how beautiful she is, if only she could learn how to polish herself up a bit. That woman may even be us when we look in the mirror. Or perhaps we just suddenly find ourselves in want or need of a change. Maybe you`ve had the same beauty routine for twenty years, your haircut is from 1985, or your wardrobe is from the seventies - and not on purpose. You know who you are - we`ll give you some tips for dressing yourself up a bit, getting some much needed change, overhauling the wardrobe, and looking like you just came from the hottest makeover show.

Let`s start with the hair. How about a new style? If your locks are all one length consider adding in some quick and easy layers. If your look is straight and narrow, how about a body wave? Again, the idea here is moderate change. Next, consider some lowlights or highlights. If you`re a brunette, why not give your color a lift by one level and if you`re a natural blonde, consider some lowlights of brown or ash-blonde. Talk with your stylist about some new ideas.
