  Liquid Glucosamine Vs. Glucosamine Pills
Author: Gabriel Adams

Many people suffer from different forms of a debilitating cartilage and joint disease known as arthritis. Arthritis normally attacks people as they get older, but sometimes arthritic conditions can occur in younger people and some children. Although there are many different forms of arthritis, arthritis is a disease generally associated with the inflammation of a joint(s) causing pain, swelling and stiffness.

Until recently many doctors prescribed pain relievers to arthritis patients, but now there is another form of medication that can actually slow and sometimes stop the progression of arthritis. This medication is glucosamine.

Glucosamine has been used on animals with arthritis for about twenty years, but new research has been done that gives hope to humans suffering from arthritis as well. Glucosamine is available as a liquid and also in pill form. Both of these forms of glucosamine have their good points and their bad points.

Liquid glucosamine is generally regarded as a better alternative than glucosamine pills, because it is absorbed more easily because the liquid is basically just a suspension of glucosamine. Glucosamine pills are harder for the body to absorb and they are also created using more fillers and less glucosamine than the liquid form.

Liquid glucosamine is also more concentrated than pills which mean that you can usually get the amount you need with just two doses instead of six very large pills. Also the liquid form of glucosamine allows for faster absorption which leads to quicker and much longer relief. When taking glucosamine pills you can expect to wait anywhere from one to two months to start feeling results, but with liquid glucosamine you can start feeling results in two to three weeks. The only thing you need to ensure pain relief is regularity in taking the dose. In no time, you will notice a remarkable difference.

Scientists say they still need to do more research on glucosamine, but anyone that suffers from arthritis or knows someone that suffers from arthritis knows that any chance at relief is worth a try. If you decide that glucosamine is right for you, then you should probably try to take liquid glucosamine instead of glucosamine pills, because they are better in many ways.
