Bad breath remedies could stop your breath from turning so bad till everyone flees from you. No one wants that to happen to us. It is not a terminal illness but can be an extremely unpleasant condition to cope with. Your breath tells a lot about you. People tend to associate bad breath with poor personal hygiene and ill health. In this article, we will look at what we can do to prevent it. 1. Good Oral Hygiene

a. Good oral hygiene makes it hard for the bad breath-causing bacteria to fester. By this, we have to take good personal care of our teeth, tongue and gums. 1. Oral Health Improvement

a. Gargle your mouth with a concoction of hydrogen peroxide and water (1 to 8 ratio).

b. Soak your toothbrush in chlorhexidine before brushing. Alternatively, use baking soda.

c. Brush gums with powdered myrrh and cloves.

2. Diet

a. Fruits

Consume at least 1 to 2 servings of fruits daily. Non-acidic fruits like pear, apple and pineapple are great.

b. Vegetables

Vegetables like broccoli, kale, carrots, spinach would help in the digestion of foods.

3. Vitamins

Daily intake of Vitamin B, C and zinc would aid to inhibit the growth of odor-producing bacteria. They basically help to keep our dietary system in check, remove toxins and waste and create an environment that is not conducive for bacteria to grow.

4. Home Bad Breath Remedies

a. Activated charcoal has excellent adsorption properties and is capable of binding with toxins, gases and waste in our stomach and intestines. Take about 4 to 5 mg per day.

b. Drinking a water solution with about one spoonful of apple cider vinegar before taking our food is useful for digestion.
